~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You may wonder (and some folks ask) why did we name it the "Pick Inn"?
Because in the world of bluegrass music, the musicians are called "pickers".
Hence, you could be a mandolin picker (like Jesse), a guitar picker, or a banjo picker.
Fiddlers are not pickers. Neither are bass players. Don't ask me why.
But we welcome both pickers and grinners (that's those of us who listen and clap). \o/
"The Pick Inn" is named in honor of Jesse as a master musician and "picker"
and also to honor all the unsung hero pickers out there.
Jesse won this award (our nation's highest honor in the arts) in 1997
And for our wedding couples, we like to think it stands for picking the love of your life.
