 SUMMER PICK INN PARTY & JESSE’S BIRTHDAY BASH was a great success!!!  held at The Pick Inn 550 Zieglers Fort Road Gallatin, Tennessee Friday & Saturday, July 9 & 10th, 2010 We celebrated rain and shine in the PICK INN MUSIC PAVILION  a Family Music Concert & Weekend in the Country On Jesse& Joy McReynolds’ family farm ~ Featured artists ~ “The IRONMAN of Bluegrass” ~ GRAND OLE OPRY STAR JESSE McREYNOLDS  Jesse McReynolds & the Virginia Boys with Amanda Lynn  Bluegrass great Curly Seckler  Banjoist Daniel Rothwell  Harv Mason & the Straight Arrow Boys  Smokey Lonesome (performs solo and part of his show with Jesse)  Judy Carrier & Rens Vreeburg  McReynolds Tradition  Steve Austin And some surprise guests who showed up were James Monroe, Wayne Lewis, Hank's daughter- Jett Williams, and Bobby Hicks! Friday from 4 to 8 pm Saturday from 2 pm to 9 pm  Hosted by the one and only Harv Mason! Southern Homestyle Cookin’ was available for purchase featuring Barbecue - Baked Potatoes - Nachos - Funnel Cakes - Hot dogs - Hamburgers - Grilled chicken wings Bratwurst - Homemade Lemonade Free Birthday Cake was enjoyed by all on Friday!  On Friday, July 9th, 2010, Jesse celebrated his 81st birthday!!!  We all wished a Happy Birthday to a wonderful man and musician! Some arts, crafts, & vendors came and set out their goods!
